Service Fees

Door Medic provides transparent and competitive pricing for all our services. Service fees typically include a 31-Point Inspection with a Thermal Image report, consultation and estimate. The cost of the Service is (based on material and customization needs), and professional installation. Additional fees may apply for services such as custom sizing, disposal fees, or installation of additional features like storm doors or smart locks. We ensure all costs are clearly outlined before the project begins, so there are no surprises.

Here’s a typical breakdown of our fees for an basic entry door service:

Cost: $85.00 | Includes an in-home consultation, thermal image, measurement, and recommendations for door options.

Note, Pricing varies based on material, size, design, and customization (e.g., glass inserts, decorative panels, or premium finishes)

  • Basic Entry Door Services: $149-$2,500

  • Mid-Range (e.g., fiberglass with glass inserts): $600-$4,000+

  • High-End Custom Door: $1000-$4,500+

  • Seal Service | Includes an in-home consultation, thermal image, measurement, Removal and installation of New LowWick Weather Stripping, Corner Seals and recommendations for door options.

  • Cost: Single Door $149.00  | Double Door $250.00

  • Seal Service and Sweeps | Includes an in-home consultation, thermal image, measurement, Removal and installation of New LowWick Weather Stripping, Corner Seals, Sweeps and recommendations for door options.

  • Cost: Single Door $198.00  | Double Door $330.00

  • Insert Replacement | Includes removal of existing insert and installation of new insert.  Possible finish damage may happen during removal and installation and subject to extra costs. Price does not include cost of new insert.

  • Cost: Single Door  $85.00 | Double Door $170.00

  • Insert Cut-in to existing door Slab | Includes cutting in larger inserts into existing door slab or side lite.  Possible finish damage may happen during removal and installation and is subject to extra costs.  Price doesn’t include cost of new insert.

  • Cost: Single Door  $85.00 | Double Door $170.00

  • Door Slab Replacement | Includes Removal of existing slab and replacement with a new slab in your existing frame.  Price does not include cost of slab or finishing.

  • Cost: Single Door  $120.00 | Double Door $240.00

  • Direct Glazed Transom and Sidelite Replacement | Includes Removal of existing unit and replacement with a new unit.  Price does not include cost of finishes.

  • Cost: Sidelite  $165.00 | Transom $320.00

  • Note, Additional costs may apply for complex installations, such as enlarging the opening, correcting framing, or replacing damaged door frames.

  • Removal and Disposal of Old Door | Covers removal, disposal, and cleanup of the old door.

  • Cost: $50-$200+

Optional Add-Ons

• Storm or Screen Door Installation | $300-$800

• Hinge Replacement/Upgrade | $120-$400

Taxes and Permits | Some regions may require a permit for significant modifications to the entryway, which could add $50-$200. All Taxes are extra.
